resident Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Friday said that Turkey encourages its business people to invest in Pakistan.

"Turkey will continue to be in solidarity with Pakistan," he said at a joint press conference with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The president also announced that a trilateral meeting between Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan will be held in Istanbul after the March 31 local elections in Turkey.

He also hailed Pakistan's Supreme Court recognizing FETÖ as a terrorist organization.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan last week ordered the government to declare the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) a terror group and ban its affiliated schools in the country.
